PRICELESS PATIENTS: Employees at ECU Internal Medicine (formerly Vidant Health) at Cowell Farm Road in Washington spent some time, last week, decorating the office for St. Patrick’s Day. According to Crystal Lebel (at front) who has been a med lab technician with the healthcare provider for 14 years, “this is much more than making our office current. Our patients are more than ‘whoever’s next in line.’ They are people with lives and cares, who deserve all the encouragement they can receive from us, so we do this every month.” The theme for March is “you’re worth more than gold.” When finished, the billboard-sized piece will feature a rainbow leading to the popular St. Patricks Day treasure, with shamrocks scattered throughout the space. Also helping decorate, behind Lebel, are employees Kayla Bundy, LPN, and phlebotomist Faustina Turcios.
