On April 5, 2023, at approximately 2223 hrs, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a shooting that occurred at a residence on Gray Road in Chocowinity, NC. Deputies responded and learned one person had suffered a gunshot wound. After Deputies secured the scene, Chocowinity EMS transported the victim to ECU Health in Greenville. The victim is expected to recover.

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual captured on a security camera in the attached photograph.
