With just under three weeks remaining until the Mid-Atlantic Christian Athletic Association cross country championship race, the Terra Ceia team looks to finish strong. The varsity boys team has placed first in all nine meets they have participated in this season. Troy Wright continues to lead the way for the Knights with Coby Alligood close on his heels. Tanner Carawan, Lawson Holland, Levi Wright and Dustin Carrow battle each other for the third, fourth and fifth scoring places on the team in each race. At their latest non-conference meet, they each set a new personal record.
The middle school girls, Chloe Alexander and Emma Spinner, have had several first, second and third place individual wins in their last four races. Middle school boys Wesley Stowe and Squires Tunstall are consistently in the top 10 of their 3k races. Leah Harrison is the Knights’ only varsity girl runner. She has consistently cut her race time each week.
The championship race is October 23rd at the ECU North Recreational Complex.
