Junior Andrew Harding is the Coastal Plains 1A/2A Conference Boys Runner of the Year, while senior Kiele Scott and junior Ava Hedgepeth are members of the All-Conference girls team.

Harding also earned honorable mention All-State recognition from HighSchoolOT.com, a Raleigh-based website that covers high school sports on a state-wide basis.

Harding won the East regional and finished second in the 1A state meet in Kernersville, covering the 5K course in 16:06.

Scott also won the East regional and competed in the state meet for the third straight year.

Hedgepeth was selected to the All-Conference team for the first time and also competed at the state meet.

1A state champion Lejeune had five runners on the boys team, four on the girls squad and Bradley Heisel was named Coach of the Year.
