The Northside golf team won Thursday’s non-conference match at the Washington yacht & Country Club by 13 shots over the TEACH Homeschool team.

North East Carolina Prep of Tarboro was third, the Northside B team was fourth and Mattamuskeet finished fifth despite having the individual medalist.

Noah Stewart shot even par 72 to win by five shots over Northside’s Gavin Sawyer. Kyle Styons of TEACH was third at 78.

Wyatt Berry (88), Max Vansant (91) and Claire Holmes (91) completed the Panthers scoring, while Asher Collie (88),

Chris Stembridge (94) and Maddox Knopic (100) rounded out TEACH’s total.

Landon Moore led the Northside B team with a 93.
