Tuesday’s playoff games are postponed

The Northside-Southside third round 1A state baseball playoff game scheduled for Tuesday at 3:15 at Northside has been postponed by rain. The teams are scheduled to play at Northside Wednesday at 4:30.

The weather has affected state tournament softball contests as well.

Washington’s game at Martin Co. will be played Wednesday at 6 p.m. while Northside’s game at Perquimans is scheduled for 5 p.m.
