Beginning July 6, 2024, the Republic Services Beaufort County Transfer Station, located at 500 Flanders Filters Road, Washington, NC 27889, will open to the public every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (with the exception of major holidays of New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day).

Beaufort County is contracting with Republic Services to offer residents a weekend disposal option for waste not accepted at County Collection Sites, such as Construction and Demolition waste. Residents must follow all facility rules and regulations and will be responsible for paying associated disposal fees with a check, debit card, or credit card.  Cash is not accepted.
