Convicted felon arrested on multiple drug and weapons charges

On June 27, deputies with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office arrested 50-year-old Torrance Felicino Smith, of Washington, on multiple drug and weapons charges. This arrest stemmed from deputies executing a search warrant on Smith’s residence. A thorough search was conducted of the property and deputies located 111 grams of cocaine, 80 grams of marijuana and two firearms.
Smith was arrested and held in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond under the following charges:
– Trafficking in Cocaine by Possession
– Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon
– Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana
– Two counts of Felony Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling to Keep Controlled
Substances
– Two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
