Karrie Lee Penland Sandoval, age 46, a resident of Mesa, AZ and formerly of Beaufort County, died June 24, 2024.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Ryder Hill Cemetery, Pamlico Beach, with Rev. Dean Fulford, Jr. officiating.

Karrie was born on April 19, 1978, in Beaufort County to the late Anthony Wayne Penland and Donna Maria Foster. She was a homemaker, she loved animals and working with them. Karrie loved and enjoyed crocheting and cooking. She had a great memory; she was very thoughtful and considerate to others by always remembering birthdays and other special occasions.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Derrick Foster.

Survivors include her husband, Angel Sandoval of Mesa, AZ, her daughter, Marissa LeeAnn Perez of Chocowinity, sisters, Shannon Jarvis (Barrett) of Washington, Katelyn Koontz (Justin) of Gulfport, MS and Danielle Credle of Winterville, grandfather, Floyd Foster of Belhaven, stepfather, Mayo Credle, Jr. of Bath, and her two dogs whom she loved dearly Pippy and Max.
