• In terms of difficulty — and using its opponents’ projected win total this season — Penn State will be facing the 72nd-ranked schedule this year.
• Taking into account their Big Ten opponents’ combined win total last year (65), the Nittany Lions have the 17th-toughest conference schedule in college football.
