WASHINGTON — Marjrie Mills Grizzard, 79, daughter of the late Barney and Ruth Williams Mills, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024.

Graveside service will be conducted on Friday, at 11AM, in the Mausoleum at Pinewood Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends Thursday, from 5-7 PM at Washington Assembly of God.

Marjrie was a native of Pitt County, and a graduate of Chicod High School.  She moved to Washington in 1977 and was a co-owner of AAA Glass Services.  For 40 years, she was a member of Washington Assembly of God Church.

Marjrie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph (Joe) Grizzard; sisters, Irene Mills, Hazel Harris, and Patsy Neal; brothers, Howard, Barney Jay (BJ) Mills, and Raymond Mills.

She is survived by her: son, Doug Grizzard (Floyd Sutton); and sister-in-law, Brenda B. Mills.
