The Washington Harbor District Alliance (WHDA) is pleased to announce the appointment of John Jesso as Interim Executive Director, effective September 18, 2024.
With a wealth of experience in strategic development, governmental affairs, real estate, public relations, and executive management, Jesso is poised to lead the WHDA as we strive to elevate the Harbor District and enhance Washington’s status as a city of choice.
Jesso has already made significant strides in engaging with the community and stakeholders essential to the success of downtown Washington. He emphasizes his commitment to collaborating with constituents to enhance the downtown experience for all residents and visitors alike.
“Leadership comes at a critical time for our city, especially amidst the exciting growth we
are witnessing in our region,” Jesso stated. “I look forward to working closely with our
