James Elwood “Mose Jr.” Howerin, age 79, a resident of Washington, died Thursday, October 3, 2024, at ECU Health Medical Center.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at 3:00 PM at the Woolard Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington.

Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington is serving the Howerin family.
