TERRA CEIA, N.C. – The Terra Ceia varsity boys, middle school boys and middle school girls ended their regular season schedule of 14 meets with four more shutouts.
The Knights took the top spots against all opponents. They also celebrated Senior Night by honoring their only 12th-grade runner, Dustin Carrow.
After winning the High School Bo Run Invitational race, the varsity boys continued their hard work in practice, focusing on conference opponent race strategy and pacing to narrow down what it takes to three-peat this year in the finals.
The middle school boys and girls got a couple of injured runners back over the past two weeks and it seems they didn’t miss a stride as they are ready to compete for middle school championships. Even though the medals and wins are nice, the best part about this team is the fun that everyone has competing and enjoying the afterparty.
All the coaches, kids, and parents ensure the pain ends with a finish-line party after every meet.
The Knights were scheduled to take part in the 10th annual Pumpkin Run on Oct. 10 in Wilson before the season-ending MACAA 1A/2A Championship on October 14th in Greenville.
