Class 1-A | Class 2-A

Northside (17-4), which finished second to Pamlico County in the Class 1-A Coastal Plains Conference, will host Northampton County on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Northside is the No. 11 seed in the East. A win could set up a third meeting between the Panthers and Bear Grass on the road on Thursday. Northside lost at Bear Grass early in the season but won at home a week later.

Southside (7-14), the CPC No. 3 seed and No. 32 seed in the 1-A East, will go to No. 1 seed Falls Lake on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. contest. Falls Lake has eliminated Northside the past two seasons. The winner of that game would face either Vance Charter or Neuse Charter in the second round.

Washington (9-7), the Eastern Plains Conference No. 3 seed and No. 18 seed overall, will go to No. 15 seed Bunn on Tuesday. A win by the Pam Pack would put them on the road again Thursday against either Midway, the No. 2 seed, or West Craven, the No. 31 seed.
