Linda Lee Waters, age 75, passed away peacefully in hospice care, accompanied by her son. Linda was a resident of Washington, North Carolina, and was known for her strong work ethic, humor, and passion for antiquing.
Born and raised in Washington, North Carolina, Linda enjoyed many summers in Bayview, North Carolina, creating cherished memories with her family. She earned an Associate’s Degree from Coastal Carolina and was the proud owner of Bluegoose Antique Store for many years, which was settled on Main Street in downtown Little Washington. There, she shared her love of unique treasures and antiques with the community. Even after closing her store, Linda’s love for antiquing continued to bring her joy throughout her retirement.
Linda was a loving and caring mother to her son, William Lee Preslar, who was deeply proud of her resilience, strength, and dedication. She found great fulfillment in her role as a grandmother, cherishing every moment spent with her granddaughters, Reese Leigh Preslar, age 2, and Olivia Rae Preslar, 25 days old.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on November 2nd from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mulberry Rooftop event area. Drinks and food will be provided, and we welcome all friends, family, and anyone who wishes to share stories and memories of Mrs. Linda to join us.
