Former Pungo Christian star Reagan Stoop receives volleyball honor

Former Pungo Christian Academy star Reagan Stoop was recognized for her volleyball performance this season for Bridgewater College.
Stoop was selected all-conference by The Old Dominion Athletic Conference. She finished the season with 416 kills and a career-high 363 digs. She also had 49 aces.
The Eagles finished the 2024 season with an overall record of 22-7 and a conference record of 10-2.
Terry Moore, Washington High, Duke football
Terry Moore finished with six tackles, one for loss and had two pass breakups for the Blue Devils in a 31-28 win over Virginia Tech last Saturday. Duke improved to 8-3 overall, 4-3 in the ACC. For the season, Moore now has 62 tackles, 18 for loss.

Bam Adebayo, Northside High, Miami Heat
The Heat split two games in the NBA Cup this week, losing to the Milwaukee Bucks and beating the Charlotte Hornets. Adebayo, who leads the Heat in rebounds (9.3), steals (1.7) and blocks (1.0), had 16 points, five rebounds and five assists in the loss to Milwaukee. He nearly had a triple-double in the win over Charlotte, finishing with eight points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.Â
KaNyah O’Neal, Southside High, Fayetteville State basketball
O’Neal had seven points, four steals and five rebounds in a win over Clayton State on Nov. 23. It helped the Broncos even their record at 3-3 going into the Thanksgiving break. She’s averaging 4.3 points and three rebounds a game this season.
