Northside’s Boyd on East-West coaching staff

YEATESVILLE, N.C. – The annual East-West All-Star Football Game will feature Northside head coach Keith Boyd.
Boyd is one of the assistants for the East club, which will field a team of football players from the eastern part of the state against the best from the western part of the state, which will be part of the West squad. The game will be played on Dec. 22 at 1 p.m. at Grimsley High School’s Jamieson Stadium.
Boyd is joined by Jacksonville head coach Beau Williams, who will lead the East squad. The other assistants are East Carteret’s B.J. Frazier, Hunt’s Juan Jackson, Pinecrest’s James Johnson and Whiteville’s J.P. Price.
The game will be played the day after the state championships.
Players and coaches will work during the week leading up to the game. The East squad will practice starting on Dec. 18 at Southwest Guilford High School.
The rosters were released on Tuesday. No Beaufort County athletes will be part of the game.
