On January 28, 2025 at approximately 12:24 PM, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an unresponsive person at 2048 Robersonville Rd. in Washington.

Deputies from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office and personnel from Beaufort County EMS, Chocowinity EMS, and Clark’s Neck Fire Department responded to the scene and began providing life saving measures.

The 46-year-old female patient was declared deceased after life saving efforts failed.  This incident is still under investigation and the victim’s name will be held until the immediate family is notified.
