Mrs. Nona Jones Thompson, 92, died Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Pungo District Hospital in Belhaven.
No public funeral service will be held. She will be interred beside her husband at Shallow United Methodist Church in Marion, S.C. at a later date.
Mrs. Thompson was born Nov. 19, 1915 in Pee Dee, S.C., daughter of the late William and Emmer Lowery Jones. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one brother, Stanley Jones of Pee Dee, S.C., and one sister, Kate Gibbs of Sellers, S.C.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Thompson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Engelhard.
Walker Funeral Home-Horner Chapel is serving the Thompson family.
