Pecheles Automotive honored

When devastating tornadoes struck eastern North Carolina in April, the need for relief in Bertie, Greene and Craven counties was obvious. The Pecheles team decided to help the local American Red Cross chapters with financial donations.

Pecheles Ford/Toyota of Washington donated $1,000 to relief in Bertie County, where 11 people perished in the storms. Joe Pecheles Audi, Volkswagen, Mitsubishi, Hyundai of Greenville donated $1,000 to relief efforts in Greene County, where Greene County Middle School was demolished. Pecheles Honda donated $1,000 to relief efforts in Craven County, where the Falcon Bridge development was severely damaged.

“As business leaders and residents of these areas, we know how important it is to support our communities in good times and bad,” said Brian Pecheles, president of the Pecheles Automotive Group.

“Brian Pecheles and the Pecheles Automotive Group knew there would be a need for financial support after the devastation and contacted us on how they could best help. They are the definition of how the business community responds in times of need,” said Summer Woodard, executive director of the Pitt County chapter of the American Red Cross.
