The Rev. Leroy Woolard, age 67, a resident of Keysville, Va., and formerly of Washington, N.C., died April 16, 2008. He was the current pastor of Cool Spring Christian Church and had served churches in five other states.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 18, 2008, at Cool Spring Christian Church from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a service following at 6 p.m. On Saturday, April 19, 2008, the family will receive friends at Rosemary Church of Christ from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. with a service following at 3 p.m. Burial will follow in the Woolard Family Cemetery.
Rev. Woolard is survived by his wife of forty-four years: Sally Woolard; sons and daughters-in-law: Barry and Vickie Woolard of Columbia, N.C., Gene and Sylvia Woolard of Winston-Salem, N.C.; brothers: Gene Woolard and Lonnie Woolard, both of Washington; sisters: Wilma Tingen and Mary Godley, both of Washington; granddaughters: Katie Woolard, Ellie Woolard and Sarah Woolard and several aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be made to Cool Spring Christian Church, 2852 Ontario Road, Keysville, VA 23947.
