Mrs. Geneva Windom Gowman, 45, a resident of Barco, died Friday, June 27, 2008, at her parents’ home in Plymouth.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. today at Maitland Memorial Chapel, Plymouth, with Bob Moulden officiating.
Mrs. Gowan was born in Washington County, daughter of Alton Ray Roberson Sr. and Stella Roberson, who survive. Mrs. Gowan was manager of Quality Plus Gas House in Barco.
Survivors include her husband, Chris R. Gowan; her daughter, Asia S. Gowman of Barco; her sister, Wanda W. Biggs; and her brother, Alton R. Windom Jr. of Plymouth.
The family will receive friends after the service.
Arrangements are by Maitland Memorial Chapel.
