Mrs. Shirley Ann Stalls Whitehurst, age 76, a resident of Joe Mobley Road, Williamston, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, at Macedonia Christian Church at 11 a.m., officiated by Greg Sexton and Dolan Baker. Burial will follow at Tice Cemetery.
