Ms. Jacklyn Denell Blount, 40, of 866 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington, died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Temple of Jesus Christ United Church. Burial will follow in the Blount cemetery, Hardison Road, Chocowinity.
Ms. Blount was born in Beaufort County on Oct. 4, 1967. She was the daughter of Mary Blount Little and the late Daniel Webster Price Jr. She attended the Beaufort County Schools.
Survivors include one daughter, Shinquata Blount of the home; one son, Jucinata Blount of the home; her stepfather, Sherman Little of the home; one grandchild; seven brothers, Gary Blount of Chocowinity, Christ Woody of Raleigh, and Ronald Price, Donald Price, Kelvin Summers, Daniel Webster Price III and Anthony Price, all of Washington; and one sister, Danielle Price of Washington.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Alex Lawrence Blount.
The family will receive friends at the home.
A walk-in visitation will be held today from 1-7 p.m. at Whitfield &Whitley Funeral Home, Washington.
