The Boys & Girls Club of Beaufort County’s 21st Century Community Learning Center has resumed its after-school program for the 2011-2012 school year.

Program hours are 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. The program is open to students ages 6 through 18. This school year, the program offers tutoring programs, piano lessons, chess lessons, community-outreach programs, recreational programs and more.

Membership costs begin at $15 per month for one child, $20 per month for two children and $25 per month for three or four children. Scholarships for membership are available. Contact one of the following program locations for details. The Washington unit is located at 1089 N. Bridge St., and the Belhaven unit is located at 225 W. Pantego St. Anyone interested in enrolling a child in the program must pick up an application from either location or call the program at 252-940-0139 or 252-943-3233.
