Mr. Donald James of 1831 Swinson Road, Jamesville died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Uniontown Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ), Jamesville with Bishop Daniel Boston Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. James was born in Washington County on Sept. 26, 1958. He was the son of Ida Moore James of Jamesville and the late Colon James Sr. He was a 1976 graduate of Jamesville High School. He was an Army veteran. He was a certified nursing assistant.
Survivors include two sons, Alton Earl Moore and Donald Lamont James Jr.; one daughter, Latesia James; one brother, Elder Colon T. James Jr. of Edenton and one sister, Barbara A. Peele of Jamesville.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8 p.m. at Puckett-Purkett Funeral Service, Roper.
