MACCLESFIELD — Rachel W. Manning Watson, 81, died Thursday.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Carlisle Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Tarboro.
Mrs. Watson was born in Edgecombe County to J. H. &Daisy Lee Walker. She was married to the late Charlie Vernon Watson. They farmed together for many years in the Crisp community.
She is survived by a daughter, Betty L. Watson, Macclesfield; Son, Charles D. Watson &wife Dawn of Macclesfield.
Family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home, Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and other times at the home, Charles &Dawn Watson, 4081 Anderson Chapel Rd., Macclesfield.
