Mrs. Alice Foye Jackson, 65, of Quincy, Mass., died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008.

A celebration of her life will be held Thursday at noon in J.B. Johnson Funeral Home, Roxbury, Mass. Burial will be held in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy, Mass.
Mrs. Jackson was born in New York, N.Y., on April 7, 1943. She was the daughter of Sarah Barnett Foye and the late Leonard Edward Foye. She was married to James Jackson, who preceded her in death. She worked for the telephone company in Boston, Mass., for many years. In 2002, she graduated from Bryman Institute in Brighton, Mass., receiving a diploma as a medical assistant. She worked private duty medical cases.
Survivors include four sisters, Odessa Foye Simms, Marion Foye Luckett, Florence Beatty Crosby and Delores Beatty and three brothers, Robert Foye, David Foye and Louis Beatty.
