Mrs. Mae Willis Spencer Lewis, 98, formerly of Route 1, Fairfield, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008, at Cross Creek Health Care Center in Swan Quarter.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the family plot in Fulford Cemetery, Engelhard, with Steve Bryan and Phil Emmert officiating.
Mrs. Lewis was born in Fairfield on April 17, 1910. She was the daughter of the late Edward Alonzo and Martha Emma Williams Spencer. She was married to William Preston Lewis, who preceded her in death Sept. 28, 1997. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Church of Christ.
Surviving are six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Elgie Lewis Midyette and Diana L. Keyzer and two brothers, Ralph Spencer and Ray Spencer.
The family will receive friends today from 7-9 p.m. at Bryan Funeral Service in Swan Quarter.
