Mrs. Lila Farris died Monday, September 8, 2008 at the DeKalb Medical Center, Stone Mountain, Ga.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Elizabeth’s Chapel Dawson Mortuary, 3000 M.L. King, Jr. Drive, S.W., Atlanta, Ga.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph Farris; daughters, Jennifer Melchor and Patricia Erkins; son, Anthony Farris; grandchildren, Aisha Scott, Gunther Scott, Timara Melchor and Deja Melchor; sisters-in-law, Daisy Best, Brooklyn, N.Y. and Evelyne (Fred) Roberson, Washington, N.C.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Local arrangements are by Randolph Funeral Home, 219 North Bonner Street, Washington, N.C.
