Mrs. Louise Knox Castelloe, 88, of 501 Wakelon Road, Windsor, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, at Chowan Hospital.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Ross Baptist Church with the Rev. Brian Medlin officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
Mrs. Castelloe was born in Martin County on April 2, 1920. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Louis and Annie Shaw Knox. She was married to Lewis Castelloe, who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Ross Baptist Church, where she was a former Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda C. Todd of Windsor; one son, Lewis Castelloe of Raeford; one sister, Frances Garner of Kill Devil Hills; three brothers, William B. Knox of Portsmouth, Va., Larry Knox of Edenton and Charlie Knox of Logansport, Idaho; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor.
