TARBORO — Ann Watson Boyd Parks, 78, died Monday, September 15 at Pitt Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 18 at Trinity Baptist Church with Dr. Phillip Dietz officiating. Burial will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park.
Mrs. Parks was born in Beaufort County to Hubert H. and Sallie Respass Watson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Colby Boyd, and son, Tony Boyd.
She is survived by a loving family that includes her husband, Seward Parks; son, Jeff Boyd and wife, Beth of Jacksonville, Fla.; step-daughters, Laura Harris of Tarboro and Martha Carson of Raleigh; granddaughter, Sandy Boyd Pond and husband, Jeffrey of Jacksonville, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Kathryn and Brandon Pond; sister, Peggy Rose of Belhaven; brother, Hubert H. Watson, Jr. of Belhaven.
The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, September 17 at Carlisle Funeral Home.
