Mrs. Clyde Mae Richardson Jones, 86, a resident of 308 E. Main St., Creswell, died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, in Washington County Hospital.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at St. Mark AME Zion Church with the Rev. Jay McNair officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery at St. John Baptist Church, Creswell.
Mrs. Jones was born May 1, 1922. She was the daughter of the late Daniel Richardson and Glennie Hill. She worked as a restaurant cook.
Survivors include a son, John W. Jones of Germany; four daughters, Clyde Mae Spence of Elizabeth City, Laura J. Holly of Charlotte and Betty McClees and Pauline J. Spence, both of Carswell; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Rowsom Funeral Home, Creswell.
