A star of the Broadway stage will perform beginning at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Washington High School Performing Arts Center.
Presented by the Beaufort County Concert Association, in cooperation with Live On Stage, Christiane Noll will be accompanied by pianist Ross Patterson, reads a news release from the association.
Noll, a stage, concert and recording artist, has appeared in the musicals “Ragtime” and “Mambo Kings” and in the opening productions of “The Witches of Eastwick” and “Jekyll & Hyde,” the news release shows.
She has been nominated for a Tony Award and a Drama Desk Award and has won a Helen Hayes Award for her work as Mother on Broadway in a revival of “Ragtime,” staged at the Kennedy Center, her website relates.
“Christiane is absolutely superb,” said Gene Geesey, president of the concert association. “She’s just done an outstanding job.”
Tickets for a full season of BCCA events – five shows in all – cost $45 each.

The doors open at 7 p.m. Monday.
“Anyone that would like to purchase a ticket is certainly welcome to do that inside the lobby,” Geesey said.
BCCA is celebrating its 35th season this year.
The season continues Oct. 25 with a tribute to opera by the Greenville Choral Society.
