Mrs. Joanna “June” Gray Crisp, 72, of Columbia died Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, at Pungo District Hospital in Belhaven.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Cedar Grove United Methodist Church, Columbia with the Rev. James Koo officiating. Interment will follow in Silent Grove Cemetery, Supply.
Mrs. Crisp was born in Brunswick County, the daughter of the late Hobson and Estha Bellamy Gray. She was married to Verne Crisp, who survives. She retired from Piedmont Airlines after 30 years of service.
Survivors include one son, Robert Greene Jr. of Garner; one stepson, Scott Crisp of Charlotte; one sister, Jeanette Gray of Wilmington; two grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 10-11 a.m. in Cedar Grove United Methodist Church, N. Gum Neck Road, Columbia. A second visitation will be held Friday from 11 a.m. to noon at Wilmington Burial and Cremation Service, Wilmington.
Services are by Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell and Wilmington Burial and Cremation Service, Wilmington.
