Beaufort County voters await Election Day

Beaufort County voters will be able to cast their ballots anytime between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Beaufort County has 21 precincts. (Refer to Page 3A for a listing of precincts and their polling places.)
People cannot register to vote on Tuesday, she said.
Rush-hours at the polls are typically before 8 a.m., around lunchtime and after 5 p.m., Hopkins said.
Hopkins said polls tend to be less crowded during typical working hours on the day of an election.
Hopkins said the Board of Elections office will research any provisional ballot to see if there was an error that was not an error of the voter.
Poll workers are ready to work the polls for the Beaufort County Board of Elections and for the people of Beaufort County, Hopkins said.
Hopkins said the Board of Elections office will conduct a canvass on Nov. 14 of Tuesday’s vote.
