Mrs. Mary McMullen Buntz, 63, of 1912 Pike Road, Pantego, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008, at home.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Union Grove Church of Christ with Scott Askew and the Rev. Jeff Scott officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Buntz was born in Cambria County, Pa., on March 27, 1945. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Vesta McConell McMullen. She was a 1962 graduate of Cresson Joint High School in Cresson, Pa. She continued her education with some college courses. On March 25, 2000, she married Albert “Wayne” Buntz, who survives. She worked as a secretary in the District Court office in Cresson, Pa. She attended Union Grove Church of Christ and was a member of First Church of Christ in Altoona, Pa.
Survivors include one son, Keith Beck of Altoona, Pa.; two sisters, Patty Medrow of Media, Pa., and Chris Mcgough of Cresson, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Don McMullen.
The family will receive friends Monday at the church following the memorial service.
