We live in Rosedale. Who do we contact about getting hurricane debris picked up? To date, there has been no pickup in Rosedale. Would someone please let us know who to call? Thank you.

Excellent editorial about protecting the park. This should be all the waterfront as this is our drawing card. Parks and Rec has done an excellent job this summer keeping the grass watered on the waterfront. It’s the green which will attract people to rent the pavilion for weddings or reunions. Without fluff, it is a blank canvas.

There should be a law about dogs on the waterfront.

What was the official recorded height of the storm surge in Washington during Hurricane Irene?

Hyde County manager states curbside pickup for trash will cease Nov. 30. Many elderly live alone and do not own trucks. How are they to transport weekly trash to a site?

To Gary: Your column was very enjoyable. You is smart, too!

To the county commissioners: Why don’t you give county residents a tax break on their property tax if their home was damaged by Hurricane Irene? The house is not worth what it is on the books if it was flooded.
