Jacoby Clyde Denton, infant son of James Clyde Denton III and Kayla Michelle Blevins, died Nov. 18, 2008, at Martin General Hospital in Williamston. He was born on July 7, 2008, in Vance County.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Hamilton Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Taylor officiating.
Survivors in addition to his parents include: paternal grandparents, Jason and Angela Street of Greenville and James and Cheryl Denton of Jacksonville; maternal grandparents, Arlevia Howell of Louisburg and Clifton Blevins of Greenville; paternal great-grandparents, Lizzie Whitaker of Williamston and Ray and Frances Miller of Bear Grass; great-great-grandmother, Eula Watson of Edenton; maternal great-grandparents, Annie and Thomas Edwards of Greenville, Joanne Coward of Greenville and Clifton Blevins Sr. of Portsmouth, Va.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Walker Funeral Home of Williamston.
