Mrs. Vera Edmondson Barnhill, 90, of West Washington Street, Bethel, died Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bethel Cemetery, with the Rev. Diane Christianson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at 369 W. Washington St., Bethel. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home’s Ayers.
