Mrs. Betty Briley Winberry, 83, of Robersonville, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Biggs Chapel in Robersonville with the Rev. Ken Cobb and Dr. James O. Hagwood officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Winberry was born Nov. 16, 1925, in Pitt County. She was a resident of Beverly Healthcare in Greenville. She was a retired manager of Cato’s. Mrs. Winberry was a member of Robersonville First Baptist Church. She married Harvey Lee Winberry on May 11, 1943, who died Feb. 3, 2007.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda W. Keel of Atlanta, Ga., Lois Congleton of Chocowinity and Brenda Furlough of Greenville, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Biggs Funeral Home in Robersonville.
