Lowe’s of Washington will host the Beaufort County Fire Association’s annual Fire Safety Day on Saturday as part of its observance of Fire Safety Month.

The event, free and open to the public, runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot of Lowe’s in Washington. All fire departments will have displays, including the fire-safety house for children. For the free children’s clinic at 10 a.m., parents or guardians must accompany their children. Children may win prizes during a drawing at 11:30 a.m.
