Mrs. Phrosen Spencer Reddick, 102, of 7283 Terra Ceia Road, Pantego, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, at Beaufort County Medical Center in Washington.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Antioch Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ), Pantego, with Bishop Melvin Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Broad Creek Cemetery, Pantego.
Mrs. Reddick was born in Beaufort County on Oct. 12, 1906. She was the daughter of the late Ada S. Spencer and Frank Spencer Sr. She attended the Beaufort County Schools. She was married to William Jordan Reddick, who preceded her in death. She had been employed with the New Boro Park Dry Cleaning Plant in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was a lifelong member of Antioch Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ), Pantego, where she formerly served as an usher.
Survivors include one daughter, Vercal Reddick of Elmire, N.Y.; one son, William Rudolph Reddick of Pantego; one sister, Delzora Spencer of Brooklyn, N.Y.; eight grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home.
Arrangements are by Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington.
