Mr. Glen Eugene Toler, 87, of 209 Sunset Drive, Williamston, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008, at Martin General Hospital in Williamston.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Macedonia Christian Church with the Rev. Greg Sexton officiating.
Mr. Toler was born Dec. 12, 1920, the son of the late Noah C. and Clara Bell Toler. He served in the Air Force during World War II. He was married to Dorothy Lee “Dot” Toler, who survives. He was a self employed wholesale distributor. He was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include three sons, Gene Toler of Merry Hill and Tony Toler and Brad Toler, both of Williamston; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 6-8 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Williamston, and other times at the home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to Williamston Rescue Squad, 901 Washington St., Williamston or the American Cancer Society.
