Mrs. Ceceilia Willoughby White, 78, of Creswell, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008, at Washington County Hospital in Plymouth.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Creswell Baptist Church with pastor Eddie Coltrain and Russell Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Azalea Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. White was born in Hyde County, the daughter of the late Charlie H. and Annie Mason Willoughby. She was married to William J. White Jr. of Creswell, who survives. She was a teacher with the Chowan and Tyrrell County Public Schools for 36 years until her retirement. She was a member of Creswell Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Creswell Baptist Church and other times at the home.
