Mrs. Betty Lou Hardison, 66, of 6030 N.C. Highway 171, Jamesville, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2008.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Cedar Branch Baptist Church with the Revs. Wayne Ellis, Donald Jones and Matt Fahy officiating. Burial will follow in Jamesville Cemetery.
Mrs. Hardison was born in Martin County on June 18, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Addie Simpson and Harry Charles Jones Sr. On May 12, 1961, she married Hillery Hardison, who survives. She worked as an LPN until her retirement. She was a member of Cedar Branch Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Michael Hardison of Jamesville; two sisters, Doris Lilley of Jamesville and Mary Honeycutt of Williamston; two brothers, the Rev. Donald Jones of Jamesville and Joseph H. Jones of New Bern and one grandchild.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Biggs Funeral Home and other times at the home.
