Mrs. Otha Lail Dyson, 86, of Goldsboro, died Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, at the home of her daughter in Matthews.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with the Revs. Wesley Jarmin and Gerry Blood officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Dyson was born in Cabarrus County on Sept. 23, 1922. She was the daughter of the late James and Mattie Vanhorne Lail. On Oct. 4, 1940, she married the Rev. Odell Lonnie Dyson, who survives. She was a member of Parkeast Church of God, Goldsboro.
Survivors include one son, Ronnie Dyson of Rocky Mount; two daughters, Betty Wheeler of Matthews and Priscilla Butler of Greenville; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-7:30 p.m. at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, China Grove.
