Ms. Amanda “Paulette” Dunn Boyd, age 63, a resident of 630 Possum Track Road, Chocowinity, died Friday, December 26, 2008 at Beaufort County Hospital in Washington.
A graveside service will be held 12 noon, Tuesday, January 30, 2008 at Wesley Cemetery, Chocowinity, conducted by Pastor Travis Boyd.
Ms. Boyd was born in Wilson on August 4, 1945. She was the daughter of Audrey Taylor Dunn, who survives and the late Fred Dunn. Ms. Boyd was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Wilmar.
Survivors include two daughters, Amy Boyd Cox and her husband, Lindsay Cox of Washington, Audrey Boyd and her companion, Earnie Glover of Washington; her mother, Audrey Dunn of Chocowinity; her brother, Fred Dunn, Jr. and his wife, Margaret Dunn of Chocowinity; her sister, Diann Ledbetter and her husband, Buddy Ledbetter of Charlotte; her grandchild, Ashley Cox; honorary grandchild, Lexi Buck and former husband, David Boyd of Chocowinity.
In addition to her father, Ms. Boyd was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Dunn.
The family will receive friends at the home, 630 Possum Track Road, Chocowinity.
