Mrs. Nona West Ambrose, 61, of Creswell, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell, with Glenn Brickhouse and Larry Woodley officiating. Burial will follow in Philippi Church of Christ cemetery.
Mrs. Ambrose was born in Philadelphia, Pa., the daughter of the late Roy W. and Irene Rossiter West. She was married to Ross B. Ambrose, who survives. She was a homemaker. She attended Philippi Church of Christ.
Survivors include three daughters, Jennifer Ambrose of Browns Mills, N.J., Nona A. Kinsey and Deanna A. Smith, both of Creswell; one brother, Roger West of Philadelphia, Pa.; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Irene Smallwood and one brother, Roy West.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7-9 p.m. at Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell, and other times at the home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation.
